Shortly after my daughter was born, she developed intensely itchy skin and eczema. As a nurse practitioner, we did everything “by the book”- eliminated food allergens, tried steroids, topical creams and reluctantly, biologics. Yet everything seemed to sting her skin and came with more side effects than relief.

We started exploring deeper root causes through further testing and what we discovered was truly eye-opening. Our little girl had been exposed to a high amount of environmental toxins, heavy metals, and everyday chemicals.

I want to share that eczema is complex and it is far more than just a skin issue. The root cause and triggers can certainly look different for everyone and healing often requires both lifestyle and environmental changes.

But this was our turning point that guided us toward a cleaner, healthier way of living.
